TIC organized a training session on ” inspection of pressure equipment following API 510 code” from March 25 to 29, 2019 at the Ramada Plaza Tunis hotel in Tunisia. During these 5 days, participants benefited from quality training led by a Canadian instructor with extensive experience in the field.

The aim of this training was to :

• Pass the API 510 “Pressure Vessel Inspector” certification exam
• Effective use of the main codes: ASME B & PV and Sections V, VIII and IX
• Perform all basic piping calculations required for API examination (EX: tmin, pressure test, PSMA, corrosion rate, calculation of remaining service life, etc.).
• Comply with API requirements when inspecting and repairing pressure vessels
• Review welding procedures (WPS / PQR) and welder performance qualifications (WPQ).
